On August 12, 2009, Walter Becker and Conrad Meyer presented a seminar titled "Disruptive Practitioners/New 2009 TJC Standards & Defending Drugs Charges and Avoiding Malprescribing" at the American Society of International Pain Physicians (ASIPP). Mr. Becker and Mr. Meyer were asked to speak on the new Joint Commission (TJC) standards on disruptive physicians as well as defending drug charges - what to do when the DEA comes knocking on your practice door. The conference was attended by over 100 pain physicians from across the country. Mr Becker and Mr. Meyer have been asked to return to ASIPP at their annual meeting in June of 2010 to present another health care legal related topic to ASIPP`s members.
